Baluarte Bridge, Mexico

VSL has contributed to some of the most prestigious and complex bridges around the world, ranging from conventional precast beam structures to long-span signature cable-stayed bridges. The list of reference projects is extensive. Prestigious projects of recent years include a bridge whose full span was built from Ductal® (Seonyu Footbridge, Korea, 2001), the Stonecutters Bridge in Hong Kong (2008), the doubling of Brisbane’s Gateway Bridge in Australia (2009), Dubai’s LRT (2009), the bridges on South Africa’s Gautrain railway (2010) and the Baluarte Bridge in Mexico, which was certified on completion in 2012 by Guinness World Records as the world’s highest cable-stayed bridge.
